Pokémon GO has changed dramatically since its launch in 2016, but few features have evolved as much as Raids. What started as a simple way for trainers to battle powerful Pokémon together has grown into one of the game's most important and exciting activities. Over the years, raids have introduced Legendary Pokémon, Mega Evolutions, Shadow Pokémon, Elite challenges, and most recently, Gigantamax battles.
